Sri Rajesh Seenath is a disciple of Padmabhushan Dr Vempati Chinna Satyam. A Natya Visharad from Kuchipudi Art Academy, he  is the torch bearer of  Kuchipudi in Trinidad. He mesmerized the audiences of Trinidad with his stellar Kuchipudi performances. He founded the Prem Jyoti Dance Academy, the only school in Trinidad and Tobago that teaches Kuchipudi. Recognized as one of the top dancers in Trinidad, Sri Seenath performs at many prestigious national events in the country. His contribution to the preservation and development of the Indo-Trinbagonian culture has earned him an induction into the 103FM Hall of Fame.

Tejaswi Kondapalli is a Kuchipudi artist from the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. She has had an innate passion for dance since her childhood. She received her initial training in Kuchipudi from various Bay Area teachers.

Tejaswi is a recipient of Fulbright Fellowship for Performing Arts and spent the 2010-2011 academic year living in Hyderabad, India. During this time, she conducted research on Tarangams and Kuchipudi dance, under the guidance of her current Guru, Dr. Uma Rama Rao.

Tejaswi feels that her trip to India solidified her aspiration to continue research and performance if Kuchipudi dance. She is passionate about promoting the arts and educating audiences through her performances.

Tejaswi is grateful to her past teachers Smt. Shymala Karra, Smt. Vaidehi Yellai, Smt. Hima Bindu Challa and Smt. Revathi Komanduri for enriching her repertoire and inspiring her to continue dance.

Though her focus has been on Kuchipudi, Tejaswi is enthusiast for all forms of dance. She is actively involved in production and telecast of classical dance programs of Yuva Bharati, California.

Academically, she received a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from University of California, San Diego and is currently employed as software engineer in the Bay Area.

Chandralekha is a disciple of renowned Kuchipudi dancer & guru, Natyasri Anupama Mohan and Kalaimamani M.V.N. Murthy. She started learning dance at an age of four under Smt. Saraswathi Vijayan. Setting her foot steps in Bharathanatyam and Mohiniyattom at an early age, she learned her inclination towards Kuchipudi dance when she became 15yrs of age. She joined Kalamandalam Shegind and Kalamandalam Sugatha for learning Kuchipudi. She has also trained herself for Mohiniyattom under smt. Sridevi Rajan, daughter of Kalamandalam Kalyanikuttyamma. Later on she joined Sathyaanjali Academy of Kuchipudi dance run by Smt. Anupama Mohan, for grooming herself into a Kuchipudi professional. Presently she is also practicing Kuchipudi under the guidance of Kalaimamani M.V.N. Murthy. She is running an academy which exclusively teaches Kuchipudi in its traditional form- Shakthi School of Kuchipudi and Nritya Yoga.

A leading exponent of Kuchipudi dance, Dr. Nirmala Visweswara Rao has emerged as one of the best dancers of this style of classical Indian dancing. She is considered to be “the prima ballerina” among Kuchipudi dancers and also one of the outstanding performers in India.


Vastly gifted with an attractive demeanour suitable for this form of dancing, Dr. Nirmala indeed casts a spell on her onlookers while performing. She exudes vitality, warmth and endows her dance with an added dimension, and she enchants the initiated and the uninitiated alike. It is her ability to infuse beauty in whatever she creates and gives joyousness to her movements and expressions that set her apart from other practitioners. The movements are full of life and endowed with sensitive lyricism.

Dr. Nirmala Visweswara Rao is the disciple of the noted Kuchipudi exponent, the late Shri Chinta Rama Murthy who is one of the member of the seven families from Kuchipudi village who are renowned for their contribution to the revival and popularization of this classical dance style.

 Dr. Nirmala started her training in Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam at the tender age of 6 under great gurus and she continued to learn the art even after her marriage to Shri Visweswara Rao who is a strong supporter behind her. She completed her M.A., M.Phil and Ph.D., in dance under the guidance of Natya Kaladhara Prof. Pasumarti Ramalinga Sastry, Central University and Acharya Chigicherla Krishna Reddy, Professor & Dean, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad.

Dr. Nirmala has performed widely in national and international festivals and has won high acclaim from both the critics and connoisseurs of dance for her impressive dancing. 


She has performed at the platforms of Ravindra Bharathi, Tyagaraya Ganasabha, Lalitha Kalathoranam, Shiparamam and all other prestigious platforms in Hyderabad. She also performed at many places in India and abroad. Some of them are at Third World Telugu Federation (Siri Fort Auditorium) and at Siliguri Utsav and other states i.e., Maharastra, Tamilnadu, Orissa, etc. Abroad performances at Poland, Turkey, Balgeria, Austria, Srilanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, Doha Qatar, Muscat, Dubai, Bahrain and USA.

Dr. Nirmala has prepared for her vocation both as a professional dancer and a teacher of dance, through rich and multifaceted experiences in higher academics, stage performances, classroom instruction and choreography. She started her own dance institution “Nirmala Nritya Nikethan.

Nirmala Nrithya Nikethan is a premier dance school in Hyderabad established in 1995 by Dr. Nirmalavisweswara Rao with the aim of promoting rich art and cultural heritage of India. Intensive training is imparted to the students here in Kuchipudi and Bharathanatyam. Beginning with a handful of students, the dance school soon grew rapidly in strength and eminence and is reckoned as a premier institution in India. Since its inception,  Dr. Nirmala has trained around 2000 students who have established themselves in different parts of the world. The students here are given comprehensive training from basic to advanced level in a professional manner with sheer discipline. Payal Ramchandani, a disciple of Padmashri Guru Jaya Rama Rao and Vanashree Rao. She started learning dance at the age of four and her initial training was with Gurus Raja & Radha Reddy. She is also an architect.



She has been giving performances for over a decade now. Her performances have ranged from dancing at eminent dance festivals to Academies to International conferences. Her repertoire also includes performances for raising funds for social causes. Some of the corporate houses/Institutions which have sponsored her performances include Airtel, Heritage, Air Hostess Academy, and International doctors’ conference, Tamana, Unity nternational Foundation, Legends of India and Iqbal Barik Mission, T.V Today, Mewar Institute,KMG.


She has participated in several festivals in India and abroad. Apart from this She has had the opportunity to perform in the Youth Festival 2010 as part of the 19th Commonwealth games 2010, Festival of India 2010, organized by the Delhi government and Delhi Tourism as part of the celebrations of the Games, She has also participated in the Nritya Rupa-Desh Parva series organized by the Sangeet Natak Academy to mark the celebrations of the above. Besides these, She has also performed in the ‘Bhakti Pravaha’ series of Chinmaya mission in recital titled ‘Vande Vasudevam’. She has recently performed at the Mahabalipuram festival 2011 and a large audience at the prestigious Taj Mahotsav 2011. She also walked the ramp in fashion show organized by Marie Claire and Sanjana Jon to support the cause of ‘Saving the girl child’. Her most recent performances included “Unbounded beats of India-UTSAV” on the occasion of the World Dance Day and participation in a lecture demonstration at Modern School, organized by Spic Macay to celebrate the same. She has also performed along with her Gurus at the SAARC conference for parliamentarians hosted by Meera Kumar. She recently performed at the opening and closing of India’s Single largest Dance Holding – the Mohan Khokhar Dance Collection at the visual arts gallery India Habitat Centre, inaugurated by Dr. Karan Singh. She recently represented India on behalf of ICCR for the “Year of India” in Canada in Saskatoon, Regina, Swift Current City, Calgary, Victoria, Edmonton and Ottawa amongst other cities in Canada.She has also performed at the India International Trade Fair 2011 organised by ITPO. Under the auspices of ICCR, she  also gave performances in Mauritius at the  World Telugu Conference in the first week of December, 2011 and conducted Workshops for students at Quatre Bornes.

She performed at the 4th BRICS Summit at the Rashtrapati Bhavan,New Delhi in the presence of all the five Heads of States and the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Dr.Manmohan Singh and at the FTP11 Conference held at the Indian Institute of Technology,New Delhi. In addition to this she performed at one Occasion of World Dance Day organized by Shri Ashish Khokar at Alliance Francais,Bangalore.She gave a solo recital organized in Mysore by Smt. Vasundhara Dorasamy and at the Sai Nrityotasava organized by Sai International Centre at Bangalore. 

She has also acted in the popular DD Series ‘Parampara’  depicting the Nava Rasas and has also been conferred the title of ‘Nritya Shree” by Pracheen Kala Kendra. She is an empanelled artist with ICCR and Doordarshan-Delhi.
