Guru Smt. Seetha Nagajothy & Sri P.Nagajothy are well established Kuchipudi dance gurus in Delhi. Padmabhushan Vempati Chinna Satyam, a great maestro in the same field trained this duo for a decade after which Guru Smt. Seetha Nagajothy worked as a dance teacher in his prestigious institution “The Kuchipudi Art Academy” at Chennai. for 15 years. She headed many dance workshops at Kuchipudi village and Hyderabad. She participated in several dance dramas like Menaka Vishwamitra, Chandalika and helped choreograph them. Guru Sri Nagajothy, due to his keen interest in the field started learning the divine art form despite his strict regimen in Indian Air Force. The dedicated duos settled in New Delhi 20 years ago and have been propagating the great dance form since then. Apart from training professionals like Seema Vishwanathan, Papiha Desai, Kanaka Sudhakar, Jalaja Kumar, Amrita Lahiri and many more, they have also trained mentally gifted students from IAF, Delhi.
More than 10 of their disciples have won national and zonal scholarships. Their daughter and disciple Ms.Abhinaya.N is Graded Doordarshan artist and also HRD govt. of India senior Scholarship recipient. Smt. Seetha Nagajothy has been felicitated by Former Honorable Finance Minister P.Chidambaram as a senior guru and even honoured by the telugu movie star Sri. Satyanarayana garu. She has been given the title of a “Neat Nattuvanaar” by The Hindu.
