Founder of Mayura Academy (School of performing Arts) – The journey of dance in Smt K.C.Srivani’s life began at the age of 7. She was first introduced to Ms K.VijayaLakshmi, by her parents, who discovered her strong inclination towards dance and taught the fundamentals of kuchipudi dance which had a great influence in Smt Srivani’s Dance career.
Srivani, after undergoing training for about 5 years under the guidance of Ms.VijayaLakshmi,completed her 4year certificate course from S.B.R.College of music and dance under Telugu University. Smt.Srivani’s passion for dance did not end with the certificate course she took further training under the effective guidance of Smt. Prasanna Rani about 2 years.
In the later years Smt.Srivani pursued her Bachelors degree in performing arts, specialising in kuchipudi dance from Telugu University. She was trained under Guru’s like Smt.Uma Rama Rao, Sri Bhagavatula Sethuram and Smt. Alekya. She has also completed her Master of performing Arts specializing in Kuchipudi dance from Central University under great gurus Padmasri Dr.NatarajaRamakrishna, Dr.Anuradha Jonnalagadda and Dr.P.S.R.AppaRao.
