Learned music from Sri Mahamkali Sathya Narayana (Father), Mahamkali Sreeramulu and Sri Y. Seetha Ramanjaneyaulu, Sanskrit and Telugu Guruvu Sri Varada Charya. Got Diplomas in Kuchipudi & Bharath Natyam through Guru Sri B.H.Y.Sarma.

Self Performances :                From my child hood I learnt Kuchipudi Dance as hereditary from his ancestors and gave a number of programmes and performed Solos like Dasavatharams, Swarajathi & Sivathandava, Tarangas, varnaas and Keerthanas.  He  also acted in Yakshaganams as Prahlada, Lava Kusa, Hiranyakasyapa.  As Krishna in Gopi Krishna, Radha Krishna and as Idra Dhanavanthari and Vishnu in Ksheerasagara Madhanam, Bhasmasura, Banasura, Hiranyakasypa and Balichakravarthi Characters are used to receive instant good response from the audience. Later got so many awards. Young performance before Hon’ble Governor Bhimsen Sachar and C.M. Brahmananda Reddy at the age 9 Years

As a Dance Master & Director :                                    

                                   

                                    Started as Dance Master career in 1972. Later established Thirumala Arts Academy and Sri Venkateswara Cultural Association, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh I am the Founder & Director since 1975. I am imparting training to children through my Academy and also and also encouraging them to get through Diploma Examinations both in Kuchipudi & Bharatha Natyam. The training imparted to his pupils resulted in their securing merit marks, Gold  medals along with distinctions. I had vast experience of 33 years in the fields of Dance and Music training. More than 3500 sturents in India and abroad were settled. I composed nearly 1200 classical Dances –No.l of Kouthas, Puja Nrityas, Jathiswarams, Swarajathis, Githas, Stuthies, Tarangas, Tamavarma,s. {adavarmas. Atatalavarnas, Rupaka and janta Varmnas, Thillanas, Astapadulu, Tyagaraja Pancharathnas, Javalis, Padams, Sabdas, Daruvulu and all varieties of Keerthanas, Kruthies, Slokas, Padyas,  Patriotic Geyaas, folk Kances, Solo and Group Dances, etc., And  also composed above 50dance dramas, classical and Social Dramas and Yakshaganas  like Bhamaakalapam, Soundara Nandam,  Sakunthala Dushyantham, Nowkacharitam, Prahlada Bhakta Vijayam, Usha Parinayam, Ksheera Sagara Madhanam,  Mohini Bhasmasura, Bhagavadgeeta, Radhakrishna, Gopilrishna, Radhamadhaviyam Radhaleelavilasam, Radha-tathwam , Prahlada Vijayam, Kalyana Raghavam (Seeta Kalyanam) , Girija Kalyanam, Menaka – Viswamitra, , Andhra Vaibhavam, ( Andhra Telugu  Jyothulu) Sivatandavam, Guntur Vaibhavam,  2002, Kalachakrka – 2006, Amaravathi Visityam, Dance Drama and Radha Leela Vilasam Performed on 5-2-06.

                                    Got felicitated on June 20 to 22 nd 2008 in the International Kuchipudi Convention, SILICON ANDHRA, Cupertino, California, USA in association with Department of Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Sri Pottisreeramulu Telugu University
 

Part time Dance Master :      1) Worked as a Dance Master from the beginning in Gowtham

                                                Baala Vihar, Mrayalaguda since 1972 to 1978. Later  Mr. K.SR.

Prasada Rao, Invited me to work in his Institution NAGARJUNA MUSIC & DANCE, COLLEGE, Guntur 1979 onwords. (27years) 

2) Later invited by Dr. N. Manga Devi, Sri Venkateswara Bala Kuteer, joined as Dance Master 1987 onwards. (19 yrs.,)

Under my guidance (above mentioned) students gave performances nearly about 4,000 performances and good awards like: Gold Medals, Got Scholarships ;from Centeral & State Govt., 1^st  Prizes, 2^nd Prize Natya Rani, Natya Mayuri, Natya Kovida (district / State / National & International) including in the cities, States, National Level. Viz. Delhi at Ajaad Bhavan, (Former President Late: R. VENKATARAMANA)AT  A.P. Bhavan  at Sri Nagar Fort, Vignan Bhavan on the occasion of “Third Telugu Prapamcha  Mahasabhalu” Tyagaraja Gana Sabha, “ Mylapur Hyderabad – at Ravindra Bharathi, Tyagaraja Gana Sabha, “Mylapur Fine Arts Assn., Chennai.”  Sangeetha Vidwath Sabha, Kakinada and kannada Seva Sangham &    NATARAHA Art Academy at Vijayawada, Bombay, Trivandrum, Mysore, Jabalpur, Udipi Mangalore, Chandrapur, Karvar, under the maintenance of South Central Cultural Zone, Nagpur Thirupathi – in Bramhostavam : Lord Sri Venkarteswara and Padmavathi Devasthanam  Srisailam, Visakhapatnam, Nellore, Ongole, Machilipatnam, & Vijayawada Krishna Mahostavams etc., They have also represented our country at Bhutan in 1986 sponsored by I.C.C.R. and organized by Sri K.S.R. Prasada Rao of Nagarjuna Music College, Guntur.

Apart from ‘Major cities of India”, my students gave several hundreds of performances in Colleges, Universities. Some students are also settled in teaching in India and abroad. Prestigious Sabhas, and Many Festivals, many villages, where they got good response from Audience. Prepared 6 Dance Dramas like : Soundara Nandam,  Abhigna Sakunthalam, Unmatha Yaksha Rajam, Buddham Saranam Gachami, Srama Yeya Jayathe, able guidance of Honb’le Sri KSR Prasada Rao, Founder & Director of Nagarjuna Music and Dance College,, Brodipet, Guntur. The above dramas are telecasted & Broadcosted by TV & All India Radio,

Performances of my students were telecasted by Doordarshan Kendras of South India. And composed dance to social welfare dramas like “Samaikya” Bharathi, Ahimso Paramo Dharmaha, Yerra Gulabi, Mother Theresa, Shanthi Duta, Swatantra Jyothi, Sukheebhava,  Pallesiri, etc.,  written by Dr. Manga Devi.  These dramas were telecasted by Doordarshan and broadcasted by A.I.R.

Not only giving training to my students also done Dance direction for some telugu Movies. They are “Aadade Aadi Shakthi Ayithe” (Directed Sri D.L.Narayana), Ide Mana Bharatham” Director Sri Katta Subba Rao) etc., Being an efficient Dance Master participated many program, as a judge for Govt. Certificates, Diplomas, Examds., and for competitions at District, State Level, All India Level and International Level.

I am also appointed as Asst. Director for Shastriya Nritya Sandhana Shibir organized by the South Central Cultural Zone, NAGPUR, at GUNTUR from 01-03-1990 to 30-03-1990.  My students performed well at A.P.Govt. Culture Department, “Kinnera Art Theatres” Hyderabad at Lalitha Kala Toranams.

            Number of our students has performed at Chidambaram (Tamil Nadu held on the occasion of Natyanjali Festivals 2003 and also at Sangeetha Nataka Academy, Delhi and Department of Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Kuchipudi Nrityam held on February, 1997 at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. Vasundara Dorai Swami, Pallavi Mohostavam, Mysure.

            Not only myself but also my students have also got titles like Natya Mayuri, Natya Rani, etc., and further teaching Kuchipudi and Bharatha Natyam at abroad and this is a special credit to him. Also given Nattu Vangam for some Yakshaganas in AIR., Vijayawada. Recently composed one Nritya rupakam of Sri Devi Vijayam. (Kuchipudi) etc.,
