Hailing from a traditional family of Kuchipudi Bhagavatulu Sri Vempati Naga Venkata Satya Prasad was born in the year 1989. Maintaining the family tradition Satya Prasad dived into this huge sea of performing arts under the guidance of Shri Dr.PadmaSri Vendantam Satya Narayana Sharma and Sri.Vedantam Venkata Naga Chalapathi Rao. He also got an opportunity to refine his talent under the able guidance of Sri Pasumarthy Rattaiah Sharma.
He started proving his talents at every stage as he was growing, and started doing courses in dance.
His great and noble journey to seek more knowledge was been aided by different scholarships from Human Resource Development Govt. of India and also from Kendra Sangeet Natak Academy .
Satya Prasad is a complete Dancer. He excels as a performer, a teacher, a choreographer.
He started as a solo dancer at the age of 7 and there was no looking back for him. He performed at the Nritya Nidhi Utsav through Sangeet Natak Academy in the year 2004, Siddhendra Yogi Mahotsav in the year 2004,2005,2007 and NRI Dance Festival 2010 in Kuchipudi.
He also portrayed lead roles in Dance Ballets and Yakshaganas along with celebrated dance maestros.
To name a few are
As Prahlad, as Vetrahasta, lord Narasimha in Bhakta Prahlad Charitam.
As Satyabhama, Madhavi and Lord Krishna in Bhamakalapam.
As Shiva, Parvathi, Aniruddha, Chitralekha and Usha in Usha Parinayam.
As a performer he has also specialized in the female character roles. Under the scheme by the Sangeet Natak Akademi and the scholarship given by Ministry of Culture he specialized all the three character roles in Bhama Kalapam under the tutelage of Padmasri. Vedantam Satyanarayana Sarma. He has also played many other roles like Chitrarekha, Shiva, Parvathi, Anirudha in Usha Parinayam, Vetrahasta, Narasimha Swamy and Pamula Vallu in Bhakta Prahalada, Kankubhattu—in Nartanasala, and many more.
To add more to this dance career he enriched himself with formal training in Carnatic vocal music. This has helped him to get a good hold in music and rhythm.

· 72nd Common Wealth Games inauguration function at New Delhi in 2010
· Tunga Mahotsav at Teerthahalli, Karnataka in 2011.
· Nritya Nidhi Utsav at Chennai in 2004.
· Nritya Pratibha at New Delhi in 2007.
· Award function by the SNA, Delhi in 2007.
Satya Prasad has been appreciated by the critics and many Gurus for his fresh subtle and matured abhinaya.
