Jyothi Chintalapudi had her Kuchipudi dance training from Vempati Nageswari garu, Padmasree Dr. Sobha Naidu garu. She is a grade A artist of Doordarshan (AP) and won several state and national awards from major organizations. She performed in India, USA and UK. She has Diploma in Natya Shastra and is been awarded ‘Natya Visarada’. She founded 'Kuchipudi Dance Academy' in 1996.
