Malladi Rajani Sankar is a disciple of Dr. Smt.Uma Ramarao. She started kuchipudi dance training under Vempati Nageshwari at Warangal at the age of 10 and till her age of 16 She was giving programmes in various places and then she joined Batchelor’s in Performing Arts in Telugu University, Hyderabad and honored with Gold Medals for both in the year 1994 & 96 respectively. Awarded Young Artists National Scholarship and also Junior Fellowship by H.R.D. Govt. of India

Presently doing a Phd research work in “Astapadis” at Telugu University, Kuchipudi village under the guidance of Vendantam Ramlinga Sastry.

Performances Given:

  • Performed at Sangeet Natak Academy programe at Hyderabad.
  • Madras Telugu Academy  Chennai and Bobilli, Andhra Pradesh.
  • Many programmes at Cultural Affairs of Andhra Pradesh, Silparamam, Bangalore, Madurai & Lasya Priya Annual programmes over as many as 300 performances.

She has established an Institute of Kuchipudi dance “NATYA SUDHA” in 2003 at Nacharam , Hyderabad. Being a professional artist of kuchipudi dance , She has written , composed and choreographed many dance ballets on various themes like …

2) Samskriti Sourabham (Importance & greatness of Telugu Culture)
3) Shakuntala (Based on the version of Kalidasa’s Abhignana Sakuntalam)

5)      Viswa Shanti (World peace )
6)     Sankranthi Sobha  (About the celebration of traditional festival of Sankranthi)
7)      Pushkara prasastyam ( Importance of Pushkaralu)
8)   Choreographed Vipra narayana, Krishna puskaralu and Thyagaraja kritanas
9) Great musical composition by saint Thyagaraja Prahalada Bhakti Vijayam for Doordarshan, Andhra Pradesh.
10)  In 1994 HRD fellowship project  she has composed dance on Sarangapani padams she has written many articles on dance magazines.
