Amrita Shil, one of the gifted Kuchipudi Dancer in India. She is a true and loyal disciple to her Guru Padmashri Dr. Sobha Naidu. She is known for strong foot work with swift moves and perfect postures with spring like flexibility. No need to say that her passion, dedication and rigorous practice alone made her to be remembered as the marvelous dancer of kuchipudi. Her grace, dedication and attitude in the field of kuchipudi dance, makes her win several prestigious awards and recognitions. For all these she gave her credits to her beloved guru. She always told that her gurus potted out her talent and molded her into a perfect artist. Amrita Shil currently engaged in spreading her knowledge and skills in kuchipudi Dance through her academy Kuchipudi Kalamrita, Hyderabad. For the past fifteen years, she performed in several parts of India and has been trying to make her dreams true.She is also a M.P.A degree holder in Kuchipudi Dance from Telugu University. She has been awarded as national scholar in the field of kuchipudi dance from Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India at very young age.

She has practiced intensively Kuchipudi Dance for the last twelve years in “SRINIVASA KUCHIPUDI ART ACADEMY” under the guidance of Padmashri Dr. Sobha Naidu. Under her guru she achieved the perfection which is strictly necessary for the dance form.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
M.P.A (Master of Performing Arts) from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, in Kuchipudi Dance, 2016.
Graduated with first class honors in Dance from Rabindra Bharti University, Kolkata, in the year 2014.

Performed at Margazhi festival organized by Gana Mukundhapriya on 29th of December 2019, Chennai.
She has performed with her troop in Vrishanka Dance festival, Hyderabad on 14th Nov 2019.
She performed with her guru at Nadaneerajanam, Tirumala on 6th Oct 2019.
She went for a temple performance at Guruvayur temple, Kerala on 2nd Sept 2019.

CHOREOGRAPHY
Many choreographies has been done by Amrita mostly for solo items in Kuchipudi. Some of them are Traditional PraveshDaruvus, Jatiswaram, Trangam, Tillana, and various Kirtanam.
WORKSHOPS
She had been conducted kuchipudi workshop at Delhi as ‘Anukirtana’
She had conducted 10 days kuchipudi dance workshop in Thrissur and Palakkad, Kerala organized by Cochin Heros Music Dance Academy in the month of April 2017.
A lecture demonstration on Kuchipudi has been conducted at “Rudrakshya Foundation”, Bhubaneswar on 3rd June’ 15.
