Suchetha
started her training in the classical dance form of Kuchipudi under the
guidance of Guru Smt. Manju Bharggavee, at a young age of 12 years. Thanks to
the encouragement provided by her guru, her interest in Kuchipudi developed
into passion for the divine art. She has successfully completed her junior
level exam with first class at the KSEE Board.
Suchetha
has toured and performed in various shows all over the country for the past 15
years. She has had significant opportunities to portray strong characters in
some of the major productions of the dance school as a result of her
versatility and expressiveness as a dancer. She has been part of many
prestigious shows including:
· Alva’s
Vishwa Nudisiri Virasat Vedike 2013, Mangalore.
· Nada
Neerajanam Vedike, Thirumala. , 2012
· Bramhotsava 2009 at ISKON temple, Bangalore
· All
major inter college fests in Bangalore 1990 - 1998
· Danced
at various programmes at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Tirupathi and Chennai
Parallely
she developed interest in Kathak and studied her basics from Guru Smt. Chitra
Venugopal at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore. Her dancing skill in Kathak
was honed by Guru. Bharathi Vittal, under whose guidance she successfully
completed the junior diploma exam.
Suchetha
is recognised for her leadership qualities and team spirits. Other than
Kuchipudi she is familiar with Carnatic Music. She is an adventurer at heart, a
good mountaineer and has completed the Inner and outer Kora parikrama of Mount
Kailas.
Suchetha
graduated with a degree in bachelor of Architecture at University Visvesvaraya
College of Engineering, Bangalore. She is currently practising as an architect
and is specialised in Design of Hospital, schools and residential buildings.
