Anupama Ramesh started the Kuchipudi dance form at the age
of 6 yrs under Guru Smt. Manju Bhargavee. The commitment and interest for dance
has brought has kept her going till today. She has performed in various places across the country from
a young age. She has completed diploma in dance and trained students in
Padmavathi Kala Nikethan for 6 years.
She has given lot of performances till date, some of them
being ballets like Bhamakalapam, Gajendra Moksham and Shivaganga. She has performed
as a co dancer with Smt Manju Bharghavee in Vaikum (Kerala).
She is working with IBM as a Senior Manager in Finance
Operations. She is a sports person and represented the state in Kho Kho for All
India and University tournaments. Also participated in the State Athletics.
Her aspiration is to contribute more to dance and train
students in the original style of kuchipudi that she acquired from her Guru.
